In Transit
In Transit is a photo essay exploring the question “what people do when they are commuting?” and is instpired by the idea of non-place from the french anthropologist Marc Augé. As someone who commutes to work, often when I am bored waiting to finally reach my destination I look at what other people are doing while briefly sharing that space with me.
This work was exhibited at the Contact photography festival in Toronto.
